Living forever
From theatrical_muse: Do you believe in an afterlife?
Yes. I always did, I suppose partly because I'm afraid not to, and partly because of that good man long ago who told a thief he'd be in paradise with him. And now I've met Stark, I know there's something.
I don't know what it'll be like though. I mean, an unborn baby doesn't know what it's like to be here, does it? Bet if it had the choice, it'd stay right where it was, all warm and safe. (Actually, I know the feeling.) And if you tried to tell that baby what life was like, it wouldn't understand, would it? Heat and cold and being able to move and see and taste a good hot curry--none of those things would make sense. All it knows is warm and safe and the sounds of its mum's body.
I think that's like us. We'd rather hang on here because we know it. Maybe what's waiting is so strange and wonderful we couldn't understand even if someone told us--and Stark might know a bit of it.
Though frankly I'm in no hurry to find out. I plan to live forever, me--here or somewhere else.

[more seriously] From an expert like you, that's very reassuring!
