Dreaming

From theatrical_muse: Have you ever regretted a wish you made? Why? What happened?

I'm not sure I've ever made any wishes, not as such. They belong in fairy tales. I've had dreams, who doesn't, but they're just flights of fancy to enliven a slow watch or to make others laugh.

They only dreams I really wanted to come true were to be the best thief in the galaxy and have someone to love me. I achieved the first one--who else could have got into Central Control, I ask you, even if there was nothing there but an empty room and a friend's death. I never expected to get the second even though I wanted it so much it hurt. But I did. And no, I don't regret it one little bit.
