What have you most regretted losing?

My hope and my self-esteem.

I read somewhere that a frog will jump right out of a hot bath but if you put it in a pot of cool water and gradually heat it, it'll just stay there till it cooks because the change is so gradual. Not a nice thought, is it? Well, it was a bit that way with me. If it'd been sudden, my feet wouldn't' have touched the ground, but it wasn't. It just got slowly worse till I realised I didn't expect anything any more but more contempt and insults and defeat and loneliness. And maybe a quick death if I was lucky.

And they were surprised than I drank Dorian's cellar dry?

Of course, both those things you can get back. When I heard they'd found Blake, I discovered I did have a bit of hope left. Mind you, given what happened then, I'm surprised it grew back afterwards, but it has. I've got friends now, and a life and a future, but I've still got a few scars.
